Gilette Super Speed One Piece Razor

This is a Gilette Super Speed Razor in the original red and clear top plastic box. There's also a Gillette Blue Blade  20 blade dispenser and another white Stainess 6 blade dispenser. Both have both used and unused blades, it's hard to see how many. Though there's a lot of information on old Gilette razors, online, it's confusing for the uninitiated. Please look at the photos and ask any questions. The inside center of the razor reads "US PAT. NOS. on PKG". Unfortunately, the bottom of the  box was evidently exposed to heat and much of the text on it is not readable. On the bottom of the razor is "US REG. PAT. OFF. Gilette Made in U.S.A." There are no dates codes in the center. This lack of code means that the razor is pre - 1951. The notched center bar further dates the razor from 1948-50. The bar was notched to fit the Blue Blade Dispenser, introduced in 1948. The razor has some discoloration on the bottom, but is otherwise in good condition. The box has some light scratches along with the damaged bottom.
