ICONIC! 1962 H4 Gillette Short Handle Travel Tech DE Safety Razor - Shave Ready I am selling an all original 1962 H4 Gillette Short Handle Travel double edge safety.  Included with this listing is the 3-piece razor and the Gillette Super Blue Blade, as photographed. This particular Gillette model has the Gillette logo sandblasted into the head, an H4 date code stamping, and pill-shaped relief punches in the head which mean it is from the Post-World War II era of Gillette production which makes it more than 60 years old.  These 3-piece razors are gorgeous and are known to provide a remarkable shaving experience.  This particular razor has no major flaws and looks phenomenal in the hand!  The razor has been handled only for photographs so it will be delivered shave ready. History The Gillette Tech was first introduced in 1930 as a successor to the Gillette Old Type. It was designed to be a more efficient and comfortable shaver. There are no mechanical flaws. There are a spots on the top cap where the gold plating has thinned, as photographed.
