This is a vintage safety razor which has the strop built into the case. The case is about 3-3/4" by 1-3/4" and only 1-1/4" high. It is a maroon leatherette with gold lines. The case has wear and stains as shown. The gold-colored metal razor itself comes in 2 parts with a blade holder and a strop in the case lid (see photo). Hidden under the strop in the lid was the 8-page Instruction Booklet
for this razor (an 8-page fold-out) and a slip of paper stating that only VALET-cut blades will fit this razor. Both paper items are discolored but intact. The leather strop is supple and unbroken. Razor
