Vintage Ever-ready 1924 Style Se Safety Razor

Vintage Ever-Ready SE Safety Razor Set Nickel plated brass. Length: 2.75" ~ Weight: 55 grams ~ Type: Single Edge, Front Hinged Cap, Hoe type, Solid Hexagon removable Handle, Reads, "Ever-Ready, Bklyn. N.Y. U.S.A. Pat Appd for" These were mfgd. from about 1919. Referred to as the "1924" Popular Single Edge razor. Gives a smooth close shave. Condition .  Razor is in very nice used condition, but does have some scratches on the plating. Excellent teeth & blade stops. Sanitized with Barbicide. Great travel razor. Case has been refinished. Uses standard Single Edge Blades. Includes 2 blades shown. NOTES OF INTEREST: In 1898 Jerry Reichard started the Gem Cutlery Co. in New York and patented the company's first product, the Gem Safety Razor. The razor was so successful that the company changed its name to the Gem Safety Razor Co. in 1900. They merged with Star and Ever-Ready to become the American Safety Razor Corp. in 1919.
