I generate a new FrankenRazor every time I buy a new safety razor, because there’s only one handle I use. I’ve been having a blast putting together Frankenrazors, so I’ve bought some parts from RazoRock and Maggard and started assembling Frankenrazors to exponentially increase the variety of quality partsrazors to choose from! Even more fun! (Also, if there’s a certain head/handle combo you want that I don’t have but can be made from what I have listed, I can put together a custom Franken/PartsRazor for you, ask me for a quote)! I really don’t profit much if even at all after fees and shipping, I mainly do this to encourage/promote traditional wet shaving/DE shaving, because it’s a better, more affordable, eco-friendly, more fun way to shave. What we have here is a brand-new RazoRock Mission Mild-Medium Closed-Comb Head on a brand-new Maggard MR5 solid 303 black anodized stainless steel long handle in Black, along with a PAA Buffer Ring to protect the plating on the bottom plate from the harder stainless handle. The RazoRock Mission head is a mild-Med closed-comb shaving head, and it’s “mission” is to provide the best, most comfortable shaving experience in the world while still being affordable. It performs similar to a Muhle R89 head, but it’s lower profile, so better for detail work. The Maggard MR5 Handle is CNC-Machined from solid 303 Stainless steel rod stock right here in the USA! It has a unique, grip-friendly design that is super-comfortable to use! The two grips are positioned in the two most common spots that people use when shaving, either close to the head or in the middle of the handle. It’s also a quite heavy handle, weighing in at 82g/2.9oz, it will wrong every bit of efficiency from the Mission head. This would be an excellent razor for people with average hands, average fingers, anyone looking for a step-up razor with a medium-long handle or someone just looking for something unique to add to their collection.
